I have i3 540 cpu

450w dual 12v rail psu..
Its very old build i know.. today i got nvidia gts450.. now my cpu is overheating.. its temp go around 103°C like that.. (i used core temp, speccy to view temp) my cpu casing also very hot.. i have stock cooler fan.. the problem happening when i use gts450 dedicated graphics.. if i use onboard graphics there no heat problem.(temp is around 47°C) whats happening? My gpu temp is around 70°C when gaming.. next thing is tencent gaming buddy is lagging very badly.. cant play pubg mobile on low settings also.. my one of friend playing it on e8500 gt730 4gb ram pc.. gt730 is worst then gts450 i think.. what cause this?? Heating issue? How can i solve this? Help Me!!!

I think that the CPU is working harder with the dedicated graphics and that's why you are seeing the heat problem.

I would first check that the cooler is snug and the fan is spinning as it should be.

If so, I would pull the cooler and repaste the CPU.

I would also run with the case open just to see how much that got me.

i3 540 can handle gts450 fine.. gts450 is middle range card.. Today i cleaned my gpu.. now gpu temp is about 40°C to 60°C while gaming.. but cpu temp is problem.. its go around 105°C while gaming.. my psu is dual rail 12v.. 12v 1-18A 12v 2 -18A.. this cause this problem?? Because when i unplug gpu everything is fine.. gpu consume lot power i think..my gpu is 6pin gpu.. how can i solve this?? Plz help anyone..
