Over Heating problem....

I have been having problems of overheating. I tested my Graphic it was giving 40 at idle and when start to play some game at max it gave me 5 minutes and the temperatures went to 105 C and then reset. I updated my driver problem was still there. So i thought to try it with new power supply but result was the same then I removed the graphic card from the system and started uses my motherboards internal graphic card. After that when started using my internal graphic card the PC screen started to black out after like 5 hours of only browsing and then come again with the message that video card drivers stopped responding and was recovered and bla bla. It happens again and again until i give the system some rest to cool off i guess now my internal card is heating up also. If I am watching videos on youtube it happens after 1 or 2 hours.Whats wrong with my system.
is there any good software to test my Intel graphic card temperatures. Both cards cant be busted at the same time. Whats wrong please. help me

ya the card is clean plus the air flow to PC casing is not a problem coz its case is open and its lying next to a big fan blowing into it

Is this a new card, or did the problem arise suddenly after some good, cool use? If it's new, it's probably just some kind of mechanical manufacturing mistake (bad heatsink set?) and you'll just have to RMA.
Speedfan may be able to get your internal GPU temperature. Try it out. Get your CPU temps too.

i have been using this card for more then a year now. I just dont get it if my 460 is faulty then y am i having problems with my internal vga

hmmmmm
40C at idle is reasonable. Highish, but fine. Mine sits around 35-37 and hits 62 with load.
If you haven't got a temperature reading on the internal card, it's not yet clear that that's the problem. See what Speedfan, and others if it doesn't work, can tell you about that.

I have cleaned the card and applied thermal past to the GPU but still 20% use of GPU(while playing 2 to 3 videos at a time) takes its temperatures to 70 to 80C. I blowed a fan into the PC case which blowed so fast that you can breath straight into it. While playing game if i blow in the fan the temperatures hardly stayed at 100C but after 20 minutes in reached 105 C and restarted. While playing game with out fan it reaches 105 C with in 5 minutes. During playing game GPU stays at 100% use all the time is it normal. I have tried changing drivers but non kept the temperatures down. I have never overclock the card but except it is overclock form evga. I have tried down clock the card but it didnt worked. What else should i try before I go on to buy a new card.

When i bought evga 460 I was told that 2.6GHz quad core processor is not good enough for 460. 460 needs at least 3GHz processor. So if i have to buy a new card which one should i buy which one is good for my processor.

No warranty just went out of warranty on 10-10-2011 bad luck.

evga relay sucked even i have had this card for 1 year. I may have had played for about 100 hours at max only.
