Over scan on samsung monitors

i have a samsung monitor with vga and hdmi input. 1080i tv!
and laptop assus n551jk with nvidia gpu.

i tried everything and i connect hdmi to hdmi cable from the laptop that support 1080p.
and i have overscran on the samsung monitor.. i dont have screenfir or autoscan on the settings... only 16:9 4:3 and zoom.

help please!

you need to go into Nvidia control panel, there will be an option somewhere that says something like 'adjust desktop size', this will be under/overscan option, you should be able to adjust it to fit your screen. let us know how you get on.

its a laptop.. i have only 3d settings. i have intel 4660 hd build gpu and the nivdia gtx850m
