In Arma 3, and Battlefield 4 i get really bad lag. Ranges from 2-30 in Arma 3 at any setting. While in Battlefield 4 i get 10-35 frames area, no setting seems to make a difference. I have a decent computer and my theory on this is my MB bottlenecking my system.

Here are my specs:Running Windows 7 64 bit, EVGA 2gb 770, Gigabyte Z77 Ds3h, 16gb of ram, I5 3570k, Western Digital 5600RPM 2TB HDD, and a 750 watt PSU.

Really stumped on this, any suggestions?

Solution
I have the same CPU and a GTX 650 2gb, with 8 gb ram, and Arma 3 runs maxed for me. So my assumption is that, it's not a hardware issue, so you might be dealing with software related issues, check to see if all your drivers are update.

Also a few side notes that may help:

About 5 months ago i stopped being able to open my bios screen, never could figure out that, was probably going to get a new MB soon so never have really thought about it much.

When trying to overclock my games crash or my computer crashed even if i try to do it just a little bit with EVGA precision tool.

Your PSU has 60 amps on the 12v rail. It's not a good quality PSU but it's also not definitely your problem although it's a possibility.
Have you tried flashing your bios?
I'm curious about your bios problems. If you have a bad setting in it and can't access it that could also be your problem.

Sometimes a motherboard has a jumper to change but the easiest way without looking up the specs on your board is this.

Remove the main power lead going into your PSU disconnecting it from the mains
>Remove the battery on your motherboard (the small coin size battery)
>Press the power button on your case (this will clear the last remaining power from the capacitors)
> Reinsert the battery back into your motherboard
> Reinsert the power lead into your PSU
>Turn on your computer

Your bios should now be reset. Please post back your results and if you can now access your bios

You have no idea how PSU manufactureres fool customers. The one hardwaresecrets reviewed was ULT40503 and the one OP has is U12-41563(Cancelled).

Manufacturers usually send their best units to get reviewed and they also make junk psu's in the same series

I know his PSU isn't a good unit. I did say that but i'm just not sure if it is that which is causing his problems. I thought it's best to look at his problem he has with not being able to get into his bios too.
I use a platinum rated Seasonic so i know what a good quality PSU is:)
