[SOLVED] overcklocking basics for i7 7700k

is there a guide or you can give me some advices?CPU:i7 7700k with cryorig air cooler ,motherboard:asus z270f gaming.I dont want to reach the limits of my system ,i just want litle better performance.

A simple approach.
Gradually change the default all core multiplier from 42 to a higher number.
Leave all voltages on auto.
Stress test. CPU-Z has a simple one to use.
Monitor vcore with cpu-Z
Monitor your temperatures . HWmonitor is good.
If your stress test temperature gets to 85c. back off.
If your vcore gets to 1.35 back off.

With a good cooler, you may get to 48.

If you implement speedstep, it will reduce the multiplier and vcore when there is little to do
That is a good thing.
