I'm pretty comfortable with this build, this processor wont bottleneck the graphics card, but i wont upgrade to RX 170 Since want to make this a budget-gaming upgrade with some parts i will use from my current PC.

I want to know if that motherboard is built to overclock this cpu to full capacity.
If not, can someone please configure this build to overclock the cpu to max which is compatible with the motherboard, while still keeping that £300 Price range.

this cpu is locked, built by intel to be like it is, 2 cores and 4 threads at the speed determined when it is sold

no mainboard from any vendor allows to overclock it at all at the moment, possibly never will happen

if you want to overclock a cpu, the cheapest option is the i3 k version, which is 3 times more expensive than the pentium you mention

Dump the paste because its not needed & buy 2x4gb 2400 ram sticks - that's the singular way you'll get the best performance from the Pentium .
It cannot be overclocked.

The only Pentium that can be overclocked is the G3258, which is a few years old and would require buying an older mobo and DDR3. A G4560 would outperform it anyway. Other than that, the only dual core Intel you can overclock is the i3-7350K, which is a terrible buy for the most part due to its pricing.

So, no, you can't overclock a locked CPU, instead i would recommend getting a K version CPU from Intel and a Z-series motherboard if you want to use overclocking feature. (but sadly this combo is out of your budget, so forget about overclocking or invest more $$ into your build)

remember that overcloking a cpu only makes it work harder to perform at 110% maxium on most cases

if you find it slow at 100%, 10% more will make it feel almost as slow as always

the benefots of overclocking are not always that great, some people can go up to 125% but that is rare, takes time, requires a good cooling solution and a good psu

heat increases, power consumption increases, life of the mainboard sometimes decreases and noise often increase because fans spin faster to move away heat generated by the process of overclocking the part(s)

it is simpler to use as it is and when you are not happy with it, buy a better one

If Possible, can you guys help me out and configure a mobo that BEST Supports this CPU And Graphics card? I'd like more features, such as more usb slots, maybe even usb 3.0 and such but can still keep within the £300 Price range? I'd prefer it not to go over £310. Also, supports 2 ( or 4 ) ddr4 slots.

Any B250 (or H270, Z270) mobo will support that CPU and GPU equally well. They will all have 2 or 4 RAM slots, and USB 3.0. Nobody but you knows how many USB ports you need, or what other features you want. Honestly, you'd probably be fine getting the cheapest B250 mobo you find.

perhaps you could make a list of features you need, like for example 10 usb ports or 4 ram slots, that sort of stuff

other than that, you cannot conver a cheap pentium into a expensive i7

the experience is determined by the price and performance of what you bought

or you are happy with it, or add more ram and a ssd, kill programs you never use and enable game mode on windows 10 or you buy a faster cpu, supported by the mainboard you have

I don't really need 10 USB slots i'd be maximum using 4/5 but it'd be nice just to have 2x4 GB Ram sticks in my mobo while having that GPU Card slot right into one of the mobo's PCIe Slots ( I think it's called that ) and draw all power from the mobo instead of running it with external cables.

Anyone got suggestions?

any mainboard you have will run a gpu that doesn't require extra power cables

the 10 usb ports is just a idea, you didn't read what i wrote, i am not telling you to get 10 usb ports, i told you to have a list of what is a must for you

any mainboard this days will have tow ram slots to put two ram modules, no mainboard sold this days for desktops come with less that i now of apart from nuc type pcs and those can't have a gpu

what is the exact list of parts you have bought or pla to buy?

i assume you bought the pentium and a gpu, what other parts you have, be very specific

That depends on the card, not the mobo. That card will draw all its power from the PCIe slot regardless of which mobo you stick it in, as the card doesn't have any power connectors.

If you're getting 2x4 GB RAM, I would recommend getting a mobo with 4 RAM slots so you have the option to upgrade to 16 GB later on with two extra sticks.

I'm planning to buy all of these parts and combine them with the PC i have running right now.

HDD : SAMSUNG HD161GJ 160GB
OS : One question, i have a cd that when run, will allow me to install windows 8, do i have to boot off that cd drive or just stick it in my cd reader slot and turn the pc on, then follow installation guide?
Wifi : I have a wifi-stick that connects through USB.
Keyboard & Mouse : Sandberg, connects through usb slot ( No cables, wireless )
Case : I don't know what it is, but i may have to get a newer one that supports all the physical dimensions, but i think mine should be fine, it's fairly large i guess.

Thats all the stuff i will need to make a new computer run, right? ( Except wifi and kb&mouse, just to make the pc run is a start )

Also, which motherboard would be more "Worth it" long-term? Such as more features. Litterally everything, throw in everything, tight fits for certain components would throw me off at getting that specific mobo since i dont necessarily like tight fits.

The ddr4 ram which i have is 2800 Mhz, while the b250m board which i have currently included in my system is only capable of running 2133/2400 Ram, anyone got suggestions which can support 2800 Mhz ram?

don't buy a samsung hard disk, if you need a cheap fast hard disk buy a toshiba 500gbs hard disk

you don't need a windows 8 cd, you need a windows 8 license, do you have a windows 8 licnese, it is a 25 letters and numbers code, don't post it here, if you don't , you don't have windows 8, you have just a installation disk that is worth nothing, expecially being windows 8, the most hated os form microsfot this decade

the case is the part where you install all the components, the one that has the power on buttons, where all parts go

i think that what you need is to give us a budget and a list of part you have now

if you don't have a clear path and list of part with a price, you will not get anywhere

if you are not that good on the pc filed, remember that there is always the buy preasembled pc option, it dpends on where you live and prices you find

please make the list i mentioned earlier, a list saysing what cpu, ram, mainboard, psu, case, hard disk, gpu, all the parts, wifi and keyboard are not important, parts inside the case

this way we know what you have or what you need to buy and if iti s a good idea to keep, upgrade or just do smal changes on what you have there

I honestly can't say what sort of features would make it "worth it long term" for you. Personally, I don't think spending extra on a motherboard for features you may or may not end up using in the future really makes sense when you're on such a tight budget.

I have a budget of £310 Maximum.

I do not want to upgrade my HDD since there is no need. I'm not downloading 40 GB games to play or anything, 160 GB is well-enough for me.
