OverClock AMD A8-3820 Problem

Hi! I have a little problem, I'm trying to OC my CPU "AMD A8-3820" Stock speed 2.5 GHz boost to 2.8Ghz . I went to the Bios and set it at 3.0 GHz windows started normally and I was getting the same results in Cinebench15 , Task Manager shows the speed to be at 2.79 Ghz while CPU-Z and AMD OverDrive at 3.0GHz . My motherboard is" BIOSTAR Group A55ML" ( I know old stuff). Thanks in advance!

task manager speed is rarely correct......cpu-z and amd overdrive are more reliable.......

are you bench marking cpu or gpu...overclocking a amd APU will not speed up the GPU in the processor only the cpu

272 is the highest(with stock and with it was set at 3.5 GHz) but the speed of the CPU was not that much cuz I believe it would show a better score, only the CPU ,, I've already OC my GPU (GTX 680)
