This has been going on for years and I just can't seem to fix it. I need help 🙁
OK, so this started a while back in 2014. I bought a motherboard from MSI and after a few months, my computer randomly started to reboot, and shut off, reboot, shut off. It wouldn't even make it past 4-5 seconds.
I purchased a new motherboard by ASUS, and this problem went away for a long time. About 2 years. Now, my computer has started doing it again, and I do not know how to fix the thing. My computer would keep saying overclock failed! press F1.
Part of me thinks its a PSU problem, the other part thinks that the ASUS overclocking (EZtune) is overclocking incorrectly. The solution so far was to pull out 2 sticks of RAM, and it magically works. I have tried using the two sticks that I pulled out instead, and they work.
Here is a link to my system specs.
***UPDATE***
I tried running my system on each stick, and It looks like we have a bad RAM stick. No matter what slot i place the ah heck in, I cannot get my system to boot. I think this is the key, will update once I test more things.
If anyone can shed some light on this, I would be very grateful. Thank you!!!
