Overclock FX 9370

Hello all, i just trying to overclock my fx 9370 ,on gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 rev4 moter board, with 8gb ram 1866mhz, cooler is noctua nh-d14, temps are good. I just got the max stabel overclock at 4.7ghz with turbo off and all the setings are turned off c6,cool$quiet ,.... the temp are 56-57C at full load on prime 95.I just saw the standard voltage is 1.5375, and its on Auto. I tryed to go up to 4,8 ghz with increasing the multiplayer to 24 but i got errors on prime 95 so i added a litle more voltage but it does the same probleme, cant get a stabel clock. What do u guys suggest to do? Thanx in advance for the answers

Well since you bought a extremely high clocked 8300 CPU, chances are your CPU can't go higher.

The temp are 56-57C is almost at the maximum temp. You need to keep under 60C.

For the clocks you want you will need a custom water cooling loop.

First off the 9370 temp is not like the older one it does have a higher temp beerier 90c but the safe zone should be 40 to 60 no higher I have mine overclocked to 4.9ghz stable temps ideal is 27 to 32 c full load is about 54 to 59 c .the main thing is the voltage is high on this right out of the box 1.5v so it can be overclocked using fsb easy.
