So, I have a MSI GP62 7RD leopard, with:
Intel Core i7 770HQ @2.80GHZ
GeForce® GTX 1050 with 2GB GDDR5
16 GB RAM ( 8GB DDR4-2400 & 8GB DDR4-2100 )
128GB SSD (NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 / SATA )
1TB 2.5" SATA HDD
Now, the problem is newer high specs games run at 40-50 fps (AC odessy, witcher 3). My suspicion is less VRAM but will overclocking my GPU bump the fps to 60?
if so can you suggest a noob friendly overclocking software.
I do not have any heating issue as i use an external fan + MSI internal fan at full blast and I live in a cold region.

Your RAM will default to the slowest of the two, so you have 16GB at 2133.

MSI Afterburner is a common overclocking program for GPUs. You might get some increase in performance, but I wouldn't expect much. I honestly wouldn't recommend it. Mobile GPUs are expensive and difficult to replace. Either way I wouldn't over-do it. AC Odyssey runs like crap on any hardware.
