so here is my my mobo :Asus M5a97 LE R2.0 and Cpu :Amd FX 8320.My cpu cooler is coolermaster hyper 212x.

Now i see a lot of videos about overclocking this cpu but it confuses me cause some say just bump up multiplier and other say leave some stuff off or on and north bridge and south bridge and ram bus. Please help me get a overclock as simple as possible,Can i just bump up multiplier or what must i turn on or off please help this is very confusing cause with my old intel build just bumped up the multiplier and that was fine.I don't want to mess around with the voltages .

Solution
Simplest way is just bump the multiplier a notch..

But I would not O.C. to much with that board, and that cooler..
the mobo you have is not designed for O.C., no heatsink on power phase.. single 4pin cpu 12v power...
the cooler is good enough but, it's a budget one so only minor O.C. ...

so I don't recommend for O.C. for your rig..

The https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_LE_R20/HelpDesk_CPU/ will support fx8320 from bios 1006 on. But its not a very good quality motherboard.

Its isn tier 2 of http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2384024/motherboard-tier-list-970-chipset.html
"These MoBos are NOT FIT to be paired with FX 8, with OCing in mind. And if a Motherboard is not good enough for OCing a particular CPU, is always good to NOT get that MoBo for that CPU. "

With that cooler, you might be able to get 4.5GHz out of it at best.
