Hi all,

I did a user benchmark and here are the results:

https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/12874330

My PC below: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/djim527/saved/DCB9TW

The ram performance is very low and currently I am using the OC Genie overclock on my MSI MB.

I tried messing with the voltage and clocks by itself and it caused multiple BSODs leading to a CMOS reset.

What should I be doing to increase my computer's performance? I've seen others overclock to 4.2-4.6 but I am not exactly sure what the problem is with my computer.

Solution
Double check that you have your ram in a dual channel configuration and not just setup right next to each other. Also, RAM is super finicky when it comes to OC, so it is usually best to just set the XMP profile in the BIOS and forget about it. However, you cpu only supports speeds up to 1600mhz, so I'm not sure it will be stable at anything else.
