Overclock i7 3770k with Gigabyte z77x - UD3H

I'm a newbie in overclocking. My spec i7 3770k 3.5 GHz, gigabyte z77x UD3H, ram Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz, thermaltake water 2.0 PRO, evga gtx 670 FTW, 750w power supply. Can anyone help me to overclock my CPU in detail? Thank you very much.

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

The 1st thing that you need to do is download CPUZ, Core Temp and prime95, LinX or y-cruncher. The last 3 programs are for test stability of the rig with overclock. Let us know the temps that you get on Core Temp with your CPU on idle and full load.

Should I use the EasyTune6 from gigabyte software to overclock? Use by quick tune, and they have 3 options to do, 4.18 Ghz 4.43ghz, and 4.68 ghz

You should not. Always overclock from the BIOS, in fact, you should uninstall Easy Tune since can be a problematic software for overclock.

Aww i was gonna use easytune 6 because i don't know how to overclock properly im to scared to do it myself... I have the same motherboard and cpu as op
