Overclock monitor at specific resolution

Hey, so I guess I'm looking for two things.
1) I have a monitor (TV) that is 1080p but the native resolution is apparently 1360 x 768. I have a GTX 1050ti so is more than capable of running 1080p. I wondered how I can set the resolution to be 1080p native (when I set 1080p manually it's blurry and out of scale)
I have tried:
Going into my TV's display settings and resetting everything.
Changing the cable.
Changing to all different types of display mode in my TV's settings.

What I need it to be 1080p for is so that I can overclock my TV to around 80hz.
If I overclock the TV to 80hz at native resolution, as soon as I go into Overwatch, the resolution changes to 1080p 60hz.
So the second thing is that I want to change my 1080p profile in Geforce control panel to 80hz. Is this possible without 1080p being my native resolution?

But when I play overwatch there's a dialogue box that comes up and says "1080p @60hz" from my TV... So it can run games in true 1080p but not the Windows desktop? Or is there some other mechanic I'm missing... This is confusing!
