overclock my CPU and Ram

Can I overclock my CPU and Ram with these specs? And what the highest Ghz i should try and go? 4.6 ,4.7 or higher? how would i know

You can OC your CPU and RAM, though OCing your RAM doesn't really make much difference. I wouldn't even worry about OCing your RAM, to be hoenst.

The only way to find out how high you can go is try. You have to mess with voltages and frequencies to find the combination that provides acceptable temperatures. Also, you want to use the least voltage possible for whatever frequency you end up settling for.

Fist of all don't go directly on
4.5-4.6 GHZ. Overclocking is a step by Step method. Don't overclock by any software because overclocking is not the thing that can be done by software. First set the XMP memory profile enabled to set your RAM correctly. Then Go in BIOS and find the CPU clock ratio, this is the multiplier setting. It starts at a multi of 35x 100(BCLK)(normal factory settings) to give you 3.5 Gigahertz. So up it .5 at a time and boot to os and test with P95 for stability and monitor your temps. (I think GA-G1 sniper motherboards comes with a bundled software named Easy tune that my GA-G1 sniper have, if yes then you can watch your temps by that software.) Do this for approximately 20 minutes. If it passes raise the multi another .5 and try again. You'll get to a point where either P95 won't pass or your temp will gone so high. If the temps gone high you'll have to stop and work on cooling. If P95 fails then go to the Advanced voltage section in bios and add some volts to the CPU VCore . Stay in offset and just add a bit by tapping on the "+" key and test again.

P95 is the software that test the stability of CPU by doing test. When testing your cpu load will be 100%. If any core fails then it will show that core no. X stopped working or not working. Download the software here:
