overclock non k cpu

intel i7 4790 cpu

my motherboard has a feature that will automatically adjust settings to over clock a cpu,
thought id try it.
my cpu is now running at its max turbo 4ghz all the time, better than the standard 3.6 - 4ghz


is it good to over clock a non k cpu?

it really is not bad, but make sure it is not getting over volted. you can always push it slightly faster with base clock changes.

i really have no idea about overclocking lol. so i dont know what the voltage can be.
im sure asus has it figured out.

reasonable enough. the stock is around 1.15 or so. if you are at 1.25 or higher I would drop it.
