Overclock Non-K CPU

I want to know if its possible to OC a i5-6400 or i5-6500. I have a aftermarket cpu cooler so im good there but i dont know if i can overclock it.

Simple answer is no - you can't OC these CPUs. To OC you need to buy the "K" version, such as a i5-6600K.
