Question Overclock not applying?

Hi there,
Just got my new pc and tried overclocking my CPU. I have done OCing on my previous pc so i would say i know stuff in relation to overclocking. however, after ocing my new cpu i looked in CPU-Z and i realised that it didnt work. i also look in other software e.g Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility and still nothing. i even followed this video( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE_vmGCq_E8&ab_channel=CrazyTechLab ) just to make sure i did everything right and still nothing.

any ideas why ocing isnt applying? also check pc power which is set to ultimate performance, game boost enabled, everything as it should be but still nothing.

pc specs:
MB: MSI Mag z790 Tomahawk Wifi DDR5
CPU: I5 13600KF
RAM: G Skill trident Z5 6400
STORAGE: Viper VP4300 2T
GPU: Asus TUF Gaming 4090
PSU: MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5
COOLER: Asus Rog Strix LC 360 (nav ieklauts bilde)
CASE: Corsair 5000D

Follow the instructions presented in the User Manual as referenced on physically numbered Page 55.

Note Overclocking Profiles via F8 and F9.

Also ensure that the new pc works without any overclocking.

Then try overclocking again but start low and increase in small steps.

Objective being to determine if overclocking works and, if so, is there some limit being imposed and it stops working.

not sure whats up with the link but if you just copy the url it will open youtube.
yeah the new pc works just fine no issues what so ever. im heading to work now i will check the instructions tonight and give some update.

you may have to unlock overclock protection or option in bios first. some bios have a function to protect away from overcloking
