Overclock potential with a bad mobo?

Hi! I bought a pc amd I am ready to OC I am not an enthusiast with custom waterloops and ROG mobos.
Here's my build
I5 4670k
Gigabyte Z97x SLI (4VRM)
Hyper EVO
TX 750

I read that this motherboard is only capable of delivering 1.27 (could be better)
I know it depends on the processor but how much OC potential do I have?

Pretty much all Z Motherboards have good overclocking potential.
