I can barely boost my GPU above +100Mhz. However I saw someone with similar problems, and one of the persons in the thread reacted saying he should use 2 cables with 2x6/8 instead of 1 cable with 2x6/8. Is this right?

My reaction there:
"Wait, I'm currently using 1 PCI-e cable that goes from 1 8 slot PCIe to 2 6/8 slots PCIe's. (2 x male 6+2 pin to male 8 pin)

Came with this PSU: http://www2.seasonic.com/product/m12ii-750-evo/

Are you saying the power is being split between those 2? So I should use 2 x8 pins on the PSU, only using 1 of the 6/8 pins on each?"

So basically my question comes down to this: Should I use 2 of these cables https://imgur.com/a/5beNyMP ? If so, I know where my OC problems comes from

Hi anthonyajax1995,

Do never, I said NEVER use a spliter.
If you have 2 PCI cables, use them and problem should be solved.

What happens here is that you ask to a single PCI line to bring the equivalent of two lines which is :
1°/ impossible
2°/ DANGEROUS!! Your power supply can catch in fire!!
