Overclock processor on Intel DX58so Extreme mb

Kinda a newb when it comes to overclocking a processor. I've looked online and found safe overclock amounts for my processor and even guides, but none of them are specifically for my motherboard which the setup is different than the guides I've found and so I don't want to change the wrong thing by accident.

Processor: Intel i8 950 3.06ghz
Motherboard: Intel Extreme DX58so

Help would be appreciated regarding how to overclock with my board. Thanks.

OCing principles are basically the same between platforms and motherboards. Learn how to OC, keep researching.

Didn't know you could OC on Intel mobo's with a few exceptions, don't think this is one.
