Overclock Safety

Alright so I just got my FX-6300 today, and I started overclocking right away.

I managed to take it from 3.5 GHz to 4.5 GHz at 1.536 Volts, My temperatures are extremely safe, running around 45 degrees absolute maximum on load. I feel like I should be good to go, but my voltages look pretty high compared to most others that I see.

Thoughts?

if you lower the volts and go into prime95 does it become unstable?

Yes, if I lower it at all from the current volts, the computer will instantly lock up.
