ok so im brand new here and pretty new to overclocking. i'll attach my cpu-z screens, and it seems these specs are the highest i can get stable, i was kinda hoping to get up to 4.2 stable so any tips anyone? also the ram is currently untouched oh and cpunb is 2544mhz. and one last thing, on this current oc, i dont even hit temps of 53c on prime 95 so temp isnt too much an issue

allright i'll give that a try. as a matter of fact 212 is the highest i can get it, 213 and more gets unstable and crashes prime 95. only reason i even use the fsb multi is to raise the ht link ram and cpunb freq but i'll give it a try. would love more input from ore people. thanks :)

ok so i tried 200 fsb and at first accidentally put the multi up to 22 putting it at4.4ghz and wouldnt boot into windows, and then corrected to 21 for 4.2. the first time prime crashed immediately on testing so i tried again and the cores didnt all even pass the first test. so anyone got any more ideas? :)

yeah i just got done reading it as a matter of fact lol. the only thing im a little unclear on is when he talks about lowering the memory speed, does he mean lower the timings to make it faster or increase timings to make it slower?
