Hi!
So I got my new 8120 and I was wondering about OC.. Read about it many places and I'd try it out,but not with the stock cooler, that's for sure.. Is the a cooler you can recommend? Or the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is the best? And do you know any places, even TomsHardware of course where I can find guides for OC? Or even, should I OC my CPU if I have a (way) better cooler? (If needed,I can/will list my other PC components)

this is a nice guide for bulldozer overclocking..=>http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/46237-bulldozer-overclocking-guide-performance-scaling-charts-max-ocs-ln2-results-coming.html

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is not the best cooler..it's decent, but not the best..
the best cooler based on air available in the market is phanteks ph-tc14pe =>http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709011&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

it can handle bulldozer at 5Ghz, but it's depend on your motherboard quality..

In the "best" word I meant for my CPU for the price..Whatever forum I read everyone was saying Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO etc etc...Oh and thanks for the link :)

hahaha..
well, cm 212 is very popular among budget overclocker for these 3-4 years..😀
Good performer despite of cheap price..

actually, cm 212+ and cm 212 evo temp difference just around 1-2'c..
yeah, evo version is better, but cm 212+ is almost $5-10 cheaper..

if you really tight on budget, then 212+ will fits on your need. this cooler can handle the heat of your overclocked processor with very well..
