overclock xps 420

i have read a couple of days ago on overclocking a xps 420. i want to overclock my quad core q6600 from 2.4 to about 3.0. the program i seen is setfsb. is there a way to get it free and overclock freely?

Looks like the older version(2.2) is freeware but you have to pay for the newer version(2.3).

Or there is another solution - BSEL conductive ink mod, it will overclock to only 3GHz, all you need is to buy this conductive ink and do some magic, it is sounds easier than SetFSB method.
