[SOLVED] Overclocked 144hz monitor to 153hz problem

I overclocked my 144hz monitor to 153hz and turned on gsync since it was off and after that my pc was not displaying anything so I needed to restart my pc and it was working. Now when I use 153hz it feels like 60hz and not as smooth as before. Is there anything I could do to fix it

When you overclock too much, It usually just resets the settings. I would check all of your settings, including your monitor, windows, and graphics card settings. It probably just reset back to 60hz somewhere

oh damn thanks for saying that. I checked my monitor and it says its on 76hz even if I put the 153hz on. What should i do?

I actually unplugged my monitor and plugged it back and it fixed it!
