Hello everyone. I have a Intel Celeron E3400 Dual Core 2.6GHz

I have a G41m-Combo by the way.

I restarted my computer and opened my BIOS as an attempt to overclock my CPU. I have the award version of BIOS. Anyways, I didn't change the voltage or anything because it wasn't even showing up. But i've made my CPU go from 2.6GHz to 3.0GHz. Till now it's good.

After i saved the settings the computer self-shut downed. and then it turned on to the windows normally. That's great till now.

When opening the properties of the windows it shows the normal 2.6GHz with no changes at all.

I went on CPU-Z and saw that:

The Core Speed is going from 1385.x MHz rapidly to 3002.x MHz then suddenly going back to 1385. Does that have anything to do with it. It's just normally the 1385 and for a second goes to 3002 then it goes back suddenly.

The Specification Name in CPUZ is still 2.6GHz

Any help? Thanks in advance.

If cpuz is showing jumps to 3ghz then you are overclocked.
cool n quiet is droping the speed down when not needed.
Now you need to stress test it to see if it is stable or not.
Prime95 works wonders for checking cpu memory overclocks.
Just choose stress testing.
