Overclocked GTX 970 or GTX 980?

For some strange reason scan.co.uk has stated the MSI 980 as discontinued?

For 1080p or 1440p, an overclocked GTX 970 is plenty. I went with the Gigabyte G1 gaming model for the great cooler. Very quiet even after my BIOS mod and overclock. EVGA also makes some really good 970s with quiet and effective coolers. Look for the ACX 2.0 models.
