I just recently got my new cpu and today i decded to overclock it with the stock heatsink. The temperature while idling was around 45-47 degrees C. On high loads its temperature was 65-79 degrees C. Is this pretty good temps for an i7 4790k overclocked to 4.40ghz with the stock heatsink? Thanks for any answers!

No, those temps are really bad and you should not be running an overclocked CPU with the stock cooler. You system will overheat during the summer or during longer gaming sessions, where heat builds up in the system. You need to lower the overclock or buy a 3rd party cooler.

Won't cause an immediate problem but not good for long session gaming like Thor220 said.

But honestly, you won't feel anything difference for overclocking 4790k higher than default, as 4.4GHz is enough for most tasks.

This is strange, you overclocked the 4790k to the stock turbo clock speeds... And your cpu idles nearly where my 6700k temperatures are at near 100% load gaming. I would definitely buy a new cpu cooler and some good thermal paste. Try reseating the cooler in the meantime.
