Overclocked monitor at 75 hz, screen is out of scale need help?

Ive got a samsung led monitor 22 inch and a gtx 780 .... but due to refresh rate being of 60hz it basically gives huge amount of screen tearing.... so I decided to overclock it... I overlocked it at 75hz my monitor supported it and every image was clear however the screen was of sacle and most of the part of screen was not showing on monitor... I tried every scaling method but no success ..... need help

i did but it auto adjusts itself...... :/

the monitor menu changes the position of whole screen in total..... not height or width

cool so i could get a 60hz monitor and make it 120hz. Any problems with that

ah thanks bro sorry your having problems but getting it up to 75hz sounds good

Just turn on Vsync.....then you will have no screen tearing at all.

When upping a refresh rate, it is normal for the monitor to not support its full resolution anymore.

Just use Vsync, and call it a day a 60hz. That is the answer to this problem.

nvidia control panel could perform this on mostof its cards however there are software like CRU or Custom Resolution Utility for amd

I know bout vsync but it results into stutters or fps drop for unoptimised games like watch dogs or black flag..... I also use d3doverrider but sometimes it also produces tearing....so need to overclock it

Try the frame limiting software included with Riva Tuner (bundled with MSI afterburner). This is everyone's favorite and works REALLY well with programs that dislike Vsync.

Dude I already use it...... my desire was to play at higher fps..... but i think Ive to stick to 60fps....

Yeah, unless you buy a 120hz monitor, 60fps will be your limit unfortunately.

it sounds like spending a little more money for a 120-144hz is the best choice( hoping it would turn out good but guess not cheaping out doesnt work 🙁 ) 60 shows only 60fps but 60fps is good it just gets smoother when higher

Most people cannot tell the difference between 60 and 120fps to be honest. They both look very smooth and fluid.
