Hey I'm new to OCing. I watched a video from TechCity about OCing my cpu and he said this was safe.

In the video he said that the OC from 3.5 to 4.2 was safe and it actually is judging by other peoples reviews.
When i OCed mine, my windows stopped working and now I believe some data is corrupted. I'm looking to reinstall windows, but i am wondering if i did something to my cpu... I set the core voltage to 1.25 (1.26 max) so it shouldnt have done any damage. Can anyone share their thoughts on this? Thx

If you overvolted only that much and it didn't opverheat you didnlt damage anything.
Are you sure it's WIn that's corrupted and it's not you overclock acting up? Does teh "corruption" persist if you revert to stock(you can save an overclocking profile wiht your settings in teh UEFI)? If the issues goi away, it means taht your OC is unstable and you need to either overvolt more or tune it back.
