Hi,

I have an MSI 970 4g edition,
I7 2700K AT 3.9
8gb ram
OCZ 750 W
Gigabyte motherboard

I followed a guide and managed to get my memory clock to +515Mhz and my GPU to +190 Mhz, this seems to be stable and not make my games crash (Witcher 3, Far cry 4.)

However in the benchmark and games i am seeing no difference when my GPU is set to around 1300MHZ standard to when i enable my overclock of around 1500MHZ.

Witcher 3 for example i have everything on other than hairworks and one other setting set to high rather than ultra.

Most areas i get 50-60 but want to get solid 60 everywhere and i am seeing literally no difference in FPS in the areas of the map which change the most. This applies to all over games.

Is it because my GPU already being overclocked is already at its highest limit ?

Is it my processor? Or is is something im doing wrong lol

Would appreciate any responses, Thanks

When you purchase factory overclocked graphics cards, the overclock is already near the top of the performance curve. So I wouldn't expect to see a great difference in game performance (after applying your overclock). You will see a bigger effect on standard graphics cards
