Overclocked Pentium CPU..?

Hi!

A Friend of mine suggested me to buy a Intel Pentium processor and then to overclock it for more "Ghz"...i was quite curious about this, so i have a question.

If i overclock a Intel Pentium G3430 3.3Ghz, maybe to 3.8Ghz ( maybe if possible ), would it be better than a Intel i3 4160 3.6Ghz processor..?

Get a Pentium G3258, and overclock it to 4GHz+ and match some i7s in gaming!!!
To answer your original question yes, the OC pentium would be better than a i3 4160 at 3.6

Yes it does. The G3258 is the only unlocked Pentium. The overlocked Pentium will be better than an i3.
