So I want to upgrade my computer a bit so I'm thinking on Ryzen 5 1600X (That 4GHz overclock sounds nasty to mine Intel i5-2400), but my mobo is not compatible with it. So I looked up for some cheap boards that can be found in my city and I found ASRock AB350M PRO4. Oh, and I think on buying Cooler Master Hyper 412R for this CPU. So, Is all this compatible?
Btw my GPU is Asus Radeon RX 550 2gb (if that does matter)

I've run a 1700@4ghz on the pro 4 atx board which is identical apart from form factor.

Now run daily at 3.8ghz because it good, enough performance wise.

Youre better with the Ryzen 1600 & it's stock cooler.
Itll do 3.8ghz easy .

You are aware it'll bottleneck badly with an rx550 Even at stock speed ??

In all honesty your current i5 is enough for that gpu easily.

Also you need, new ddr4 ram too if moving to a current gen platform.

Didn't forgot about It. I chose DDR4 8GB 3200MH Kingston HyperX Fury Black CL17. (I accidentally down voted your reply...)

wait, will it bottleneck with 1600?
And, I know, my i5 is good but i still want something more powerful. I play fortnite a lot and fps drops badly sometimes so I thought of a new processor.
Yea, I chose ddr4 ram.
So, what do you think, should I buy 1600 then? If I shouldn't, could you suggest me something?
