Hey, so here's what happened.

First off, In my PC I have two 9600GT's in SLI. This morning I decided to go ahead and overclock my cards core clock from 650MHZ to 700MHZ. Now throughout the day I experienced random freezing. So I though eh, lets tone it back down to 650 and see what happens. I still get the same freezing, and I've even got the blue screen of death twice. My PC boots up for about 20 minutes and then after working for a while it freezes. All help is appreciated! Thanks!

What method did you use to OC them? RivaTuner? Other software, or did you hack the BIOS in the cards?

You may want to get back into that software and make sure they were really set back to DEFAULT/FACTORY settings. Worst case, uninstall your nVidia Forceware drivers, and reinstall the latest version. See if that helps.

You can also look into the nVidia nTune / Performance software that comes with their new drivers and check the settings there. You can actually OC the cards through the nVidia software these days (though I've had better luck elsewhere).

Make sure the Memory and Shader speeds of the video card were not also overclocked. Some software will automatically alter Memory & Shader speeds in line with your movements in GPU core clock speeds. Best thing is to reset everything back to Default.

Thank you so much! I re-installed the latest NVIDIA driver and now it works fine. By the way, I'm using Ntune. Not a big fan of RT.

Also I have a quick question for you. When I got the newest driver for my card, I'm unable to change the fan speeds on them. Is there a quick fix for this?
