(First, you can see all my specs here- http://www.3dmark.com/fs/1104827)

So, I recently built an ultra-budget gaming computer. It uses an A6 APU, which I did not realize loves high speed ram. I did not want to go through the hassle of returning it and buying expensive ram, so I started overclocking. I bought this ram-
http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=CT25664BA1339 from microcenter @$19.99 ea. With this ram, I slowly worked my way up. I was surprised as hell when I got to 2400Mhz. The timings are 12-13-12-32 so theyre pretty loose. Now note that in the 3D mark description it says my ram is 667MHZ- That's because my ram overclocks do not show in system specs. However- Note that my Video ram is 1200Mhz- that's because the APU shares memory with the system. (Also, I ran HCI memtest overnight with 100% stability) So, have any of you had results like this?

Also, it says the tesselation is edited, only because I had it set to AMD optimized in CCC

Edit: Here's my CPU-Z validation http://valid.canardpc.com/715r51
Edit 2: Lol now its 2524 Mhz perfectly stable http://valid.canardpc.com/ujjgna

I highly doubt that memory is running anything close to 2400 speeds. Post up a CPU-Z validator link that shows the memory running at that speed.

I think it's more of an issue with your BIOS showing one thing and reality showing another..

I have no doubt you set your ram to that speed. I would have to see the actual speed to believe it is actually running at that speed though as that is a ridiculous OC on very ordinary memory. Now if you validate it with CPU Z so we can see it what it is actually running at, I for one would be impressed.

Shame on you for not believing me. Also, It's actually 2449 MHZ because I forgot that I set the base frequency for my CPU at 102.

Okay I am impressed :)
