Hello, I have a separate post about my CPU (7920X) But I also had questions about my ram as well. I have an ASUS X299 Stirx E motherboard with a Core i9 7920X CPU. My ram is 32GB (4) 8GB sticks of Corsair Vengance 3200Mhz RGB DDR 4 Kit. The XMP profile timings are 16-18-18-36 @ 1.35v to run at 3200 Mhz. I have been able to run my ram at 3600 Mhz using the timings of 18-19-19-38 @ 1.36v, these are the timings of Corsair's 3600 Mhz Vengance kit. Is this safe to do long term? I ran Aida 64's memory tests/benchmarks, as well as Real Bench and Mem test, everything checks out just fine, as well as just normally using my PC for a couple of 8 hour work days. Am I going to really get any real benefit doing this vs. the possible, if any, damage it may cause? Honestly I've tried it because I wanted to see if I could run 3600 Mhz ram without having to drop $250 or whatever it costs to buy it right now. Keep it mind that eventually (Maybe within a year or so) I want to upgrade to a 64 GB kit anyway and I plan on getting a 3600, if not 3800 or 4000 Mhz kit.
