Overclocking 3770K : VID value at FULL load guarantees stability ?

Hello,
At 4.6GHz my CPU VID(not vcore) is 1.336 at full load (BIOS LLC is auto)
If I use a fixed vcore of the same voltage=1.336 should I be necessarily stable at that voltage at full load ?

I see VID as the voltage the CPU calls for at a given clock. Is it reliable enough ?

Am I right ?

Why bother overclocking when you will not notice any difference in most programs, including games?

if using fixed settings, do not exceed 1.28vcore
