Overclocking 5000+ black edition w/o multiplier

is it possible to overclock a 5000+ black edition without a multiplier?


the reason why is i have a crapy board.. biostar nf520-a2 9 actually i like the board alot) but im just wondering if any one has tried this... thx

of course you can. Just like you don't need a multiplier to overclock a Phenom 9600 BE but I warn you that your overclock probally won't be as good.

yea i tried it but my bored kept going in safe mode i got it to 2.9 wich isnt to bad but idk im gunna keep messin around with stuff thx for the reply tho!
