Hey building a new rig from scratch for the gtx 1080, first time building. I got 6700k skylake with an MSI gaming m5, i bought the g. skill nt series 8x2gb because it was cheap and had a low profile so it wouldn't get in the way of the my Nh 15 heatsink.
However will it be a factor when I overclock my cpu? Most things I've read so far on google say the RAM has almost influence on your overclocking unless your system increases the voltage on your ram...But now I dont know if buying a more expensive ram is going to make overclocking better for me.
Any input regarding this ram's performance is appreciated.
