Overclocking 8350 to 4.6GHz

Okay so, I was told all my specs were good enough to overclock. I when into the bios and set it to run at 4.6GHz, then ran Prime95. My temp rose to 68c then my entire system shut off. Lowering it to 4.3GHz, I ran prime95 Again, and it only went to 56c but then my computer restarted, without fully turning off. What's the issue?
Specs:
Cpu: AMD FX 8350
Gpu: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 sc
Mobo: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
Ram: 16GB Ballistix (4x 4GBs ram sticks)
I also have two western digital hard drives. One is 500GBs and the other is 1TB.

Unstable overclock , and the board isn't that great for overclocking.

Thanks, I believe I just went back to normal. I won't be overclocking for a while until I get better parts lol.
