Question overclocking 8700k --- coreclock vs uncore ratio?

hiya,

I have my 8700k running at 5,1 at 1,3v, have it set to turbo so it will go bit higher when needed 1.38 highest i have seen it go,

temps are good while gaming 50-60c, get spikes up to 72c for spilt second,

I've just been googling about ring/LLC clock on HWINFO64

it was 5.1Ghz for the core clock and 4Ghz for the ring/LLC clock

i was reading that the ring/LLC clock should be as close to the core clock, is this true?

raised it up to 4.8Ghz but temps and vcore got a bit crazy

You mean turbo LLC (loadline calibration setting)? What motherboard you have?
If you set cpu voltage to 1.300v manually only thing what affects the value under load is LLC. Doesnt matter what cache ratio you set.
