overclocking 9700pro

i have tried overclocking my 9700 ultimate 2 ways. what is best for watching dvds?

- Overclocking on standard drivers to extremely high speeds

- Running omega 2.5.36a 9800 driver, & soft mod Internal DAC crack to 400Mhz (currnet mode runs continously at 339Mhz core & memory speeds) has no artfiacts runs like a dream. Also running rage3d tweak.

I was thinking of flashing the bios to an 9800pro or xt bios is this possible is there any sort of performance increase at all.

If the core speed increases say 50 Mhz how big is the expected performance increaser, if memory speed increases 10Mhz how big is the performance increae?

Does anyone know of a website site or can ya tell us what settings in rage3d gives the highest quality for dvd movies?

I'm pretty sure that when it comes to watching DVDs, overclocking isn't going to help. There is no real rendering going on besides the basic 2D desktop stuff. The quality *should* be the same regardless of clock speeds, AA, AF, VSync or anything else.
