Overclocking a 4790k.

Ive been thiking/working on overclocking my 4790k to 4.4-4.5ghz for games like Battlefield 1. What I want to know is would there be a noticeable FPS difference? And but how much if you had to guess? I currently run high around 115-120 fps but I would like like to get over 120fps steady to take advantage of my 144hz monitor running in 120hz. Please correct me if anything I said was wrong im not a expert.

BF1 is pretty CPU heavy compared to a lot of titles, and running >100 FPS can compound that. I think overclocking your CPU is definitely a great option to push for 144 FPS.

Yeah I havnt really had time to really mess with the OC, I think I will tonight. Do you think my build (in my bio) would be able to reach that 144fps with a correct OC?

Unfortunately I cannot see your build. It's tough to estimate since I haven't found any good benchmarks comparing similar processors at different clocks in BF1. Wild guess I would say you can expect maybe a 10 FPS increase on average.
