Overclocking a a10-5800k

Ok so I have hyper 212 Evo
Msi a88xm GAMING micro atx
A10-5800k
Corsair c70 gunmetal black
And r9 270x coming soon
What voltages would I have to raise it to to get 4.2 ghz?

Oh and it's stable at 1.5v so voltage isn't so much a problem but cooling is

Your question doesn't really have an answer. Each chip is different, personally when I overclock I only overclock as far as I can go without a voltage increase. In fact on my backup AMD FX system I have actually reduced the voltage from stock. Just raise the multiplier a step at a time and leave everything, do an hour of prime95 or similar and rinse and repeat. Then when you think it is stable run about 6 hours of prime95 to test it. Some people say more but I think it's overkill. I'm playing games not handling top secret data!

I've tried increasing multiplier and no voltage but it won't even boot it will POST but not boot

Your problem is increasing voltage will increase heat. I'm not an overclocking Guru so I'm not best placed to answer this question really.
