Hello, I'm wanting to overclock my 8320 and I want to know if my system is "ready" or capable of handling a OC. Here are my specs.

CPU: AMD FX-8320
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo
MOBO: MSI 970 Gaming (AM3+)
RAM: PNY Xtra 8gb
GPU: MSI GTX 960 4gb
PSU: Thermaltake Smart 650w
CASE: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe
OS: Windows 10 Pro
MONITOR: Acer g7 25in (1080p)

I have never overclocked a CPU before and would my computer do good?

And how much of improvement would I see in games?

Solution
I have the same chip. It runs in windows 10 at 4.4-4.45 on almost every video game i play. At that level of increase, you should see anywhere between as little as 5 fps increase to as high as 20+ All depends on your chip and where it stays stable at.

A good website to follow is, http://www.overclock.net/t/1318995/official-fx-8320-fx-8350-vishera-owners-club

also http://www.overclock.net/t/1348623/amd-bulldozer-and-piledriver-overclocking-guide-asus-motherboard
it will walk you though almost everything you need to do/know for overclocking your chip.

That covers it pretty good. Just make sure when you have the clock speed you want, turn the voltage down as low as possibly stable, voltage = heat.
