Hello, i came here to ask you about overclocking a FX-8350 in a right way.
I'm no expert in overclocking but not a totally newbie either, but when overclocking a 8350 what is better, overclocking in a "cpu ratio" or in the FSB? I have a ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0.

I already tried both ways, but didn't notice that much of difference in CS:GO etc, but neither run a benchmark or something.
If anyone could help i appreciate

Cumps 😀

Overclocking the cpu has little gains in computer games nowdays. The difference can really only be seen in games such as starcraft 2/skyrim that cant take advantage of several cpu cores.

Overclocking the cpu is more a hobby nowdays, but it's fun :).

I recommend reading this guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/1348623/amd-bulldozer-and-piledriver-overclocking-guide-asus-motherboard

In short words, if you want to go as far as possible, disable all powersaving features in BIOS for your cpu. Set your voltage settings to manual so that the motherboard doesn't try to increase the voltage for you. You can overclock through the fsb or cpu ratio, pick whatever you want. Just play around with the settings.

I recommend starting with the cpu ratio since it doesn't affect anything else but the cpu when you increase it. Increase it so that you get something like 4.3-4.4ghz and then boot into windows and run this program: http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=205

It'll stress your cpu in order to see if your overclock is stable. Make sure to monitor your cpu temperatures with something like HWmonitor. If your temperatures go above the 70's or if Prime95 reports that your something is unstable simply close it and go into bios and increase the voltage AS LONG AS YOUR MAX TEMPS ARE BELOW 70 IN PRIME95. Also the max recommended voltage for this chip is 1.55v.

First, thank you very much for the help!
Yeah i already have now my CPU on 4.4ghz by CPU ratio, and it runs just fine, the max temps in BF3/4 was 59/60º, i just used the CPU ratio because doesn't change RAM speeds etc 😛
I have all on "auto" in the motherboard, so as you say, will be better if i use it as manual right? And if it is, what the best voltage to use 4.4 or 4.5ghz? and what voltages i have to change?
Btw, the turbo core is worth to use or not? i have try it in the beginning with an OC of 4.2ghz and the turbo core to 4.5ghz, and when i'm on desktop it shows that some cores, sometimes, go till 4.5ghz but when i run a game none of the cores go 4.5ghz and i thing that the cores stay on 4.1ghz when gaming! Don't remember right now. I don't understand how turbo works 😀
