Overclocking a non K Intel processor

Hi guys. I have an Intel Core i5 3470. During the non-stressed periods, the clock speed underclocks to 1600MHz and when the turbo is needed, it overclocks to 3600Mhz. A while ago I was checking the new UEFI bios because I have not seen it before (was used to the old classic) and I have managed to boost the clock speed to 4000Mhz. However, no matter which stress test I run, the clock speed always wiggles somewhere between 3800Mhz-3900Mhz and hardly reaches the 4000Mhz border. Is there a way to actually let it reach the speed of 4000Mhz and leave it there during the load? Another thing. The clock speed increases with BLCK/PEG Frequency. I have it on 100.00 but I am able to reach 4200Mhz with stable and acceptable temperatures when I raise the number a little. I set the voltage to automatic in the UEFI and during the load, it wiggles between 1.128 and 1.148. Is this voltage ok or should I set the voltage to manual and raise it? Thanks for all the suggestion.

necroing this thread. You can overclock any intel cpu (i think they dropped support on that for haswell series)that has turbo boost by 4 bins.(0.4Ghz over the turbo boost amount.)Every cpu that is supposedly locked because it doesn't have a k on it,it's called "Limited Unlocked" cpu,do your research boys.A non k intel cpu that has turbo boost can be overclocked by 0.4Ghz over the turbo boost amount. This might help
