Hey Guys,

I have an AMD Phenom 9550 2.2GHz processor and an Asus M3A78-CM mobo and a Transcend 2GB 800MHz ram. I wan to overclock the processor. How much do you think I can go on stock volts? I am using AMD stock heat sink and fan. When I enter the bios and check the temp. it is 45C. Is that too much? Would I need extra cooling? My case already has 2 fans in it and that's the maximum. Please give me your advice.

Idle is not what will tell you you need to find out the load Max temp stress test for say 30 min and check the temp of all 4 cores and processor. Just make sure that all 4 are at 100% load.
