Overclocking a q8300

Hello, I'm considering overclocking my Intel Core 2 quad q8300 from 2.5 to 3 GHz on an Asus P5QL-CM motherboard. Do you think that i can achieve stability with the stock cooler?

wouldn't do it with stock cooler. And I would do a lot of research first. Be aware that this could kill your mobo.
